What does business management involve?
The Business Management module teaches you everything about the legal aspects of setting up a business. You’ll gain the right tools to start a business and run it successfully. During the module, we cover all the key aspects of business management, and you’ll learn, for example, how to write a business plan.
After completing the module, for example, you will be able to identify the factors a carrier needs to consider when setting their prices, and which growth strategy an entrepreneur should apply to achieve a particular result.
What is assessed?
The exam covers a range of topics and tests your knowledge of business management. You may be asked questions about:
- Setting up a business
- Writing a business plan
- Security rights and pledges
- Insolvency law
- Insurance
- Taxes
- Marketing
- Liability
- Crime
- Transport agreements
- Business law
All topics are covered during the business management course. Choose the day that suits you best, attend the course in the morning at 1 of our locations, and successfully complete the module at the CBR in the afternoon.
What does the business management exam involve?
The Business Management exam takes place at the CBR. You have 60 minutes to answer 30 multiple-choice questions. Have you answered at least 19 questions correctly? Then you have passed the Business Management module. The questions cover topics including insurance and taxes, legal knowledge and regulations, and marketing. You will receive your exam result immediately. Bring a valid form of ID and your exam invitation. The CBR will provide a pen and paper and a digital calculator.
