RV1 theory exam – Pass in just 1 day

In the RV1 theory course, you learn about rules of conduct, traffic regulations, and the function and operation of vehicle technology. RV1 is therefore also known as ‘Professional Competence Part 1, Traffic and Technology Light’ (RV1-light). In the RV1 exam, you can expect questions such as: ‘What cools the turbocharger?’ and ‘What should the driver check regularly on the tires?’. The exam consists largely of multiple-choice questions.

How many questions are there in the RV1 exam? The theory exam consists of 65 questions and you have 75 minutes to complete it. How many mistakes can you make? You can make a maximum of 13 mistakes, so you need to answer at least 52 questions correctly to pass the CBR exam.

The other two parts of the theory exam for category C are closely related. V3C with Code 95 covers the same topics as V2C, but in the form of practical questions rather than theory questions. The topics covered in V2C and V3C with Code 95 are as follows:

• Safety aspects;
• Environmental aspects;
• Relevant provisions of the Working Hours Act and the Working Hours Decree for Transport;
• Relevant provisions of transport legislation.

Code 95

Code 95 is an endorsement on Category C and D driving licences. For professional drivers, it represents mandatory periodic training to maintain their professional competence.
