What is VM2-C?
The VM2-C theory exam is the second part of the truck theory exam and is officially called: Theory Exam Part 2, Administration. This exam tests your knowledge of freight transport.
The VM2-C theory exam covers the following subjects:
- Safety aspects
- Environmental aspects
- Relevant provisions of the Working Hours Act and the Working Hours Decree for Transport
- Relevant provisions of transport legislation
How does it work?
- Choose the course you want to take.
- Choose the location where you would like to take the Truck Theory Course C.
- Choose a date and enter your details. (PLEASE NOTE! Enter your first names and surname as shown in your passport)
- Pay a deposit of €50,- so that you can take part in the course (100% participation; not compulsory).
- Be there and pay close attention, and pass your truck theory test in 1 day.
After registering, you'll receive an invoice for the course you booked. If you'd like to add another course, select “book more” after choosing a date.

How is the VM2-C exam structured?
This exam consists of 65 questions and takes a maximum of 90 minutes (during the transition period, from 01-07-2024: 80 minutes). You will be asked different types of questions, such as multiple-choice, open-ended and statement-based questions. For example: “If a driver has driven 51 hours this week, how many hours can they drive at most next week?” You may also be asked: “What should a driver take into account when the truck is being loaded?”
