What does Road Haulage of Goods 1 involve?
Are you going to work as a transport operator? Whether you drive as a self-employed freelancer or run a large company, it is important to be familiar with the laws and regulations. During the course, you will learn everything about national and international goods transport.
After completing the module, you’ll know which statutory duties are carried out by NIWO, be able to apply the regulations relating to the carriage of goods, and understand the CEMT permit.
What is assessed?
The exam covers a range of topics. Your knowledge and skills relating to laws and regulations are assessed. For example, you’ll be asked questions about:
- Organisations in Road Haulage
- Legislation and regulations on the carriage of goods
- Trip permits, period permits and CEMT permits
- Documents and charges
All these topics are covered in detail during Nuvrachtwagen's goods transport 1 course. You attend the course in the morning and take the CBR exam that same afternoon. Nuvrachtwagen takes care of everything from A to Z, so you can quickly get started as a transport operator!
What does the goods transport 1 exam look like?
The Goods Road Transport 1 exam takes place at a CBR location. The exam consists of 30 multiple-choice questions. You must answer at least 20 correctly to pass. You have 60 minutes to complete it. During the exam, you can consult various reference materials provided by the CBR:
- Goods Road Transport Act
- Regulations on the carriage of goods by road
- CMR Convention
- NIWO Policy on Permit Issuance
- Policy rule on proportionality assessment and sanctions in the event of loss of reliability in road freight transport
- General Conditions of Carriage 2002
- Vehicle Regulations
- RDW Policy Rule on Exemptions for Exceptional Transport
